Recently, as the co-first authors, Yang Huijing, a graduate student in psychology at the School of Education and Psychology, and her associate supervisor Dr. Li Kaiyun, published a paper titling “Real-Time Neural Signals of Disorder and Order Perception” (DOI  = 10.3389/fpsyg.2019.00357) in one of the journals of SSCI—Frontiers in Psychology (influence factor 2.089). Professor Lin Fengxun, also Yang Huijing’s supervisor, is the corresponding author. This paper revealed, for the first time, the neural basis of perceived disorder and order through experiment, enhancing people's understanding of the essence of the sense of order，broadening the scope of research in the field of cognitive fluency, and playing a vital role of studying the impacts of environmental factors on individual cognitive fluency in the future.

In these years, the social cognition and behavioral science laboratory run by Prof. Lin Fengxun and Dr. Li Kaiyun have carried out a series of researches on sense of order and construal level, and published many influentially academic papers in domestic and foreign journals. This research, funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province, is a remarkable achievement made by the University of Jinan in the humanities and social sciences. It not only further expands the influence of our school in psychology at home and abroad, but also marks a significant improvement of graduate education in the humanities and social sciences of our school.
