On June 10th, China Engineering Education Professional Certification Association announced the conclusion of 2020 engineering education professional certification, that a total of 305 majors in China passed the certification. There are three majors of UJN, including network engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering and technology passed the certification and that is valid for 6 years. Up to now, there are 8 certified majors passed in the university.

In recent years, the school attaches great importance to professional certification, pays attention to top-level design and overall planning, intensifies policy guidance, increases investment guarantee, further promotes the reform of education and teaching mode, strengthens the construction of teaching quality guarantee system, and practically puts three concepts of “student-centered”, “output-oriented” and “continuous improvement” into the whole process of talent training, effectively promoting professional connotative development and improving the quality of talent training.

Professional certification is an important measure to promote the teaching reform of higher education and improve the quality of personnel training, and is also the specific requirement of the Ministry of Education to promote the policy of “Six Excellence and One Top-notch” and “Double Ten Thousand Plan”. In the next step, the school will continue to adhere to the fundamental task of strengthening morality education, actively adapt to the new needs of national strategic development, firmly grasp the core point of comprehensively improving personnel training ability, and strive to build a high-level personnel training system with engineering education and teacher-training professional certification as the starting point, continuously promoting professional modernization and improving the quality of personnel training.
