To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, on the occasion of International Children’s Day, the primary school and kindergarten affiliated to University of Jinan held an activity themed “Uphold and spread the spirit of the Party in children” to celebrate the centenary birthday of the Communist Part. On the morning of June 1st, Secretary of Party Committee Xu Jingyan, Headmaster Zhang Shiqiang, Vice President Yang Jingbo, as well as directors of relevant departments of UJN came to affiliated primary school and kindergarten affiliated to University of Jinan to send their deep concern and holiday blessings to children.

In the club performance themed “Blossoming in a New Era” held by the affiliated primary school, school leaders visited the practical clubs such as Paper quilling, Robot, Calligraphy and Rubik’s Cube, the sports clubs represented by roller skating, baseball, ping-pong and tennis, and the art clubs featuring chorus, dance, recitation and martial arts, and watched the wonderful art performances of various clubs. The students wore red scarves for leaders who came to express their condolences.

In the cultural performance held by kindergarten themed “Uphold and spread the spirit of the Party for 30 years, and build the Chinese Dream Together” to celebrate the Children’s Day and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the kindergarten, the school leaders enjoyed art exhibitions with themes of “Children’s Heart to the Party” and “Exhibition Board for the 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of the kindergarten”, and watched performances with chapters of “Chasing Dreams of Celebrating the Centennial Founding of the Party”, “Building Dreams of Thirty Years of Endeavour”, and “Achieving Dreams of Looking Forward to Children’s Bright Future”.

After visit, the school leaders fully affirmed and spoke highly of the curriculum construction, teaching reform, teachers’ development, and spiritual outlook of teachers and students, and put forward guidelines on integrating educational resources, condensing educational characteristics and promoting the connotative development of basic education. Secretary Xu Jingyan pointed out that in the pre-school education stage, it is necessary to gradually establish a curriculum system based on game, so as to prevent kindergartens from tending to primary schools, and help children develop actively, happily and confidently through the methods of resource optimization, talent cultivation, diversified development and connotation injection, realizing the transformation from “education for children” to “high-quality education for children”;

At the stage of primary education, it is necessary to establish an effective link with normal education, respect every child’s disposition and personality, and stimulate their interests, so that they would like school, their parents satisfied with process, and teachers grow up independently, achieving the transformation from “school for education” to “school for high-quality education”.
